The MIFARE Plus® / DESFire® EV1 module complements the 13.56 MHz OEM range with the latest STid advanced security levels. Extremely compact with its integrated antenna, the MS is also compliant to ISO14443A, ISO14443-3B, ISO18092 (NFC) and able to read CPS3 French health cards. This module allows you to keep data confidentiality and communication integrity for all your contactless identification applications.

The MS OEM module uses the latest MIFARE® contactless chip technologies with new data security mechanisms. All public encryption algorithms can be used (3DES, AES, RSA, SHA, etc.), which are recommended by official data security agencies (such as the French national agency ANSSI).

MIFARE Plus®: with different levels of security and the AES encryption (128 bits keys) of MIFARE Plus®, you strengthen authentication and confidentiality of the data.
DESFire® EV1 & EV2: thanks to the TDES and AES cryptography algorithms, you are guaranteed with a top security level permitting to control up 28 different applications per card.

The MS MIFARE Plus® / DESFire® EV1 provides high level of security between the module and your access control system thanks to the secured SSCP protocol (STid Secure Common Protocol). It uses standard algorithms (AES and HMAC-SHA1) for a high security level and fast authentications.

The most secure protocol on the market

This protocol, recommended by ANSSI, uses data encryption (AES) and two-way “reader-controller” authentication to ensure security before any communication is allowed between the reader and the management system.
