Payroll Expert
Your Role
Reporting to the Group Finance Department, you will ensure the accuracy of HR data and oversee payroll management for both France and international operations. Leveraging your hands-on payroll expertise, you will progressively expand your scope to include social cost analysis and management, working closely with Finance and HR teams.
What You Will Do
Payroll Management & Compliance
- Ensure the accuracy and compliance of payroll processing across the entire scope.
- Supervise payroll service providers: manage data transmission, monitor deadlines, and review deliverables and SLAs.
- Receive and verify payslips prior to approval.
- Ensure consistency of data between HRIS, time management, and Finance systems.
- Secure variable payroll components (bonuses, commissions, premiums, benefits).
- Monitor working hours and manage absence trackers (sick leave, workplace accidents, vacation, etc.).
- Integrate data from freelancers and contractors, accounting for local specifics.
- Harmonize practices across different collective agreements.
- Ensure regulatory and social compliance in each country.
- Maintain and oversee the Group’s social calendar.
- Ensure payroll data reliability for accurate accounting integration.
HR Cost Control & Reporting
- Produce and validate monthly payroll reporting.
- Analyze variances between actual, budgeted, and forecasted figures.
- Track salary costs and social contributions by entity, business unit, and country.
- Contribute to payroll budgeting and forecasting.
- Prepare data for social obligations (NAO, BDESE, social balance sheets, ESG reporting).
- Participate in continuous improvement of reporting tools and automation of data flows.
Profile
You demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and autonomy, while collaborating effectively with HR and Finance teams.
You have 8–10 years of experience in payroll, progressively taking on analytical roles in HR cost control.
You have strong technical payroll expertise, ideally in a multi-entity, international environment.
You possess a solid understanding of the financial impacts of payroll and workforce costs, with a Finance-oriented approach.
You are highly proficient in Excel and major HRIS platforms, leveraging tools to produce accurate and reliable reporting.
