Decoders for RS485 transparent readers

The EasyRemote interface is designed to enable RS485 transparent communication between a secure badge reader and the authentication chip, in line with architecture number 1 recommended by the ANSSI (Agence Nationale de la Sécurité des Systèmes d’Information).

Transparent authentication path.

The EasyRemote interface ensures direct communication between the reader and the chip, allowing end-to-end authentication without intermediate data processing, which is a requirement for high-security architectures.

Secure communication.

The EasyRemote interface uses RS485 secure communication to transmit data between the reader and the decoder. Ensures that the security parameters (such as encryption keys or session credentials) are stored in a protected memory area (safe area), ensuring integrity and confidentiality.

Protocol conversion.

The EasyRemote interface includes a decoder that converts secure RS485 communication into traditional access control protocols: Wiegand & Clock & Data, allowing seamless integration with existing access control systems while maintaining modern security standards.
