News features on Architect® OSDP™ readers with screens, combining a keypad and 4 function buttons

This new mode provides a simple, enhanced screen management solution for Architect^® OSDP™ readers.

It allows for interaction between the Architect^® reader and the system for a number of functions, such as alarm activation or any other function (closing shutter doors, lighting, etc.), time management, and more.

Because the display is system-controlled, it provides perfect synchronization to ensure that a consistent system time is displayed for the time of entry function, for example.

By clicking on the text box (up to two lines), the display toggles between:

• A keypad (standard or random key display depending on the chosen configuration),
• Four function keys. The function keys are relayed to the system.

This new mode can be activated by an OSDP™ configuration, generated in just a few clicks from the SECard 3.7 programming tool.
