The ARC-P is a secure reader combining RFID LEGIC® technologies with capacitive keypad and biometrics fingerprint sensor. By developing the Architect® innovative readers, STid has created the perfect blend of high security and scalability.

ARC-P reader use the latest LEGIC® contactless chip technologies with new data security mechanisms. All public encryption algorithms can be used (3DES, AES, RSA, SHA, etc.), which are recommended by official data security agencies (such as the French national agency ANSSI).
The ARC-P Architect® reader combines the latest MIFARE® to a capacitive keypad with fingerprint recognition to enhance the security of your access control system.
Thanks to its various operating modes (card AND key or card OR key), you can use the keypad to identify people or to activate additional functions (activation of the intrusion alarm…).

Readers are compatible with the latest generation of open protocol SSCP (STid Secure Common Protocol). This protocol recommended by ANSSI uses data encryption (AES) and two-way “reader-controller” authentication to ensure security before any communication is allowed between the reader and the management system. |
The innovative tamper protection system protects sensitive data and gives the possibility to delete the authentication keys (patented solution). Unlike the current solutions on the market, the reliability of the accelerometer based technology avoids it being outsmarted.
The Architect® series is intuitive and dynamic, and consists of 4 interchangeable modules that can easily be connected to a common smart RFID core.
This easy and cost saving modular approach allows autonomy on the security access management.
