STid is the first RFID manufacturer to have received First Level Security Certification (CSPN). It’s a recognition of our unique know-how, the technological and security expertise that are implemented in your access architecture, whether new or existing.

ARC-M reader use the latest LEGIC® contactless chip technologies with new data security mechanisms. All public encryption algorithms can be used (3DES, AES, RSA, SHA, etc.), which are recommended by official data security agencies (such as the French national ANSSI).

Manage with ease a multi-factor identification

Both reader and keypad, the ARC-M allows a dual-identification by combining card and/or PIN code identifications. Thanks to its various operating modes (card AND key or card OR key), you can use the keypad to identify people or to activate additional functions (activation of the intrusion alarm…)

STid provide smart software tools to stay in control of your security. SEGIC allows the user, the installer or the integrator to realize easily secure programming access readers.

Readers are compatible with the latest generation of open protocol SSCP (STid Secure Common Protocol). This protocol recommended by ANSSI uses data encryption (AES) and two-way “reader-controller” authentication to ensure security before any communication is allowed between the reader and the management system.

The innovative tamper protection system protects sensitive data and gives the possibility to delete the authentication keys (patented solution). Unlike the current solutions on the market, the reliability of the accelerometer based technology avoids it being outsmarted.
